Fuel price update postponed in Cuba.

The updating of fuel prices in Cuba and their commercialization in foreign currency in a selected network of servicenters, scheduled to begin this February 1, is postponed, due to a cybersecurity incident in the computer systems for commercialization, informed Cuba's deputy minister of Economy and Planning, Mildrey Granadillo.

"We ratify that the government's projections to correct distortions and boost the economy of 2024, will only be implemented if the conditions for this are created," she said in her intervention in Noticiero del Mediodía.

He added that the cybersecurity incident has been caused by a virus from abroad, however, it continues to be investigated.

The logistic conditions and the sale of fuel are maintained at the levels we have been carrying out up to now. There will be no stoppage, he concluded.
