Solidarity in the U.S. calls for an end to the blockade of Cuba

With a call to put an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade that affects the Cuban people, the International Conference for the Normalization of Cuba-US Relations was held in New York.
This new edition, sponsored by the National Cuba Solidarity Network and the Cuba Sí New York-New Jersey Coalition, included debates on women's rights, the normalization of Cuba-US relations, trade union movements, as well as the impact on the Cuban population and workers of the coercive measures imposed by the United States on the Caribbean nation.
The participation of members of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), the National Union of Jurists of Cuba (UNJC) and the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) and officials from the Cuban missions in Washington and New York allowed those present to learn more about the implementation of the Family Code and the achievements in human rights.
