Cuba present at an activity for Hispanic Day at an Australian school

Canberra, 5 April 2024. Members of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, headed by the third secretary of the diplomatic mission, Ivianes Gonzalez, attended the activity held at the Radford Australian school , on the occasion of the Hispanic Day.

During the event, the children enjoyed the screening of the Cuban cartoon Elpidio Valdés and sang the song Balada para Elpidio Valdés, by Silvio Rodríguez. They were also given explanations about the history of Cuba and typical elements of the country. They also had the opportunity to draw pictures about what they had previously seen in the cartoon.

The activity was very dynamic and interesting. It promoted the image of Cuba and the cultural values of the Cuban people.
