The Cuban Foreign Ministry today hailed the 43rd anniversary of the creation of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and reaffirmed the will to continue strengthening cooperation ties.
On this date, the Cuban Foreign Ministry also expressed on the social network X its interest in consolidating ties of friendship with the peoples of the Caribbean.
The OECS is an international organization dedicated to economic harmonization and integration, protection of human and legal rights, stimulation of good governance between and within countries.
It is comprised of: Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines; Anguilla and the British Virgin Islands.
