The delegation of Mongolian artists participating in the XV Havana Biennial, composed of the creator Enkhbold Togmidshiirev and Batjil Bajar, Head of International Relations, visited UNEAC yesterday.
The Mongolian representatives were received by the President of the Plastic Artists Association, Harold López Muñoz, Virginia Alberdi, Director of the Villa Manuela Gallery and José Camilo López, an official of the Ministry of Culture.
The artists from Mongolia, a country participating for the first time in the Biennial, visited the exhibition “Out of this World III” by Ibrahim Miranda, which is currently on display at the Villa Manuela gallery.
They also received a detailed explanation of the UNEAC and its different artists associations and expressed interest in promoting the exchange of artist projects and exhibitions between both countries.
Later, accompanied by the President of the Association of Plastic Artists, they would visit other exhibitions of the Havana Biennial, that of Maestro Antonio Martorell and the great exhibition of Cuban art at the great Cultural Center “La Estación de Línea y 18”.
