Tehran, February 16, 2025. Cuban Ambassador Jorge Lefebre Nicolás was invited by the organizers of the 18th Tehran Tourism and Associated Industries Exhibition (TITE) where he made a presentation on the tourist attractions of the largest of the Antilles.
The Cuban diplomat, in addition to making a presentation to directors of tourism agencies, Iranian tour operators and the general public, held bilateral meetings with the Director General of Tourism of the Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts, with directors and members of the TITE Organizing Committee, as well as with several businessmen from the Iranian hotel sector and free zones.
In his words, he highlighted the opportunities that exist for the joint development of health tourism and the importance of coordinating the participation of Iranian representatives in upcoming events such as the V Cuba-Health International Convention from April 21 to 25; and the FitCuba International Tourism Fair from May 1 to 5, 2025.
Likewise, the general director of the Iranian tourism agency Abrash Parvaz, Mrs. Bahareh Habibzadeh, took advantage of this space to highlight the benefits of Cuban tourism and the positive feedback of tourists regarding hotel facilities on Cuban soil.
