United Kingdom (01/03/2025) - The Cuban tourism office in the United Kingdom participated in the Go Diving Show, held last weekend in the English city of Coventry. With the aim of promoting the attractions of the Cuban archipelago for the practice of diving, Cuba had a stand located in the Caribbean area, where it shared with other countries in the region, consolidating the ties of cooperation and brotherhood.
The Go Diving Show has quickly established itself as the premier face-to-face event for diving enthusiasts, encompassing more than 10,000 square metres of activities and exhibits. The show offers a sophisticated platform to showcase the latest advances in dive equipment, idyllic holiday destinations and comprehensive training resources. For both novice and experienced divers, this event represents a professional, enriching and immersive experience designed to foster connections and expand knowledge within the global diving community.
During the fair, it was noted that there is great interest among British divers and divers from other parts of the world to travel to Cuba and enjoy its rich seabed. The marine biodiversity, the conservation of its coral reefs and the hospitality of the Cuban people were highly valued by the attendees.
Cuba's participation in this event included exchanges with tour operators, certifying companies and other non-British agencies, with the aim of including Cuban diving destinations in their tourist offers. Cuba's presence at the Go Diving Show reinforces its position as a privileged destination for nature tourism, highlighting its commitment to sustainable development and the preservation of the marine heritage.
