Celebrations in Havana on the occasion of Irish National Day.

Havana, March 17, 2025. As part of the celebrations in Cuba commemorating Ireland's National Day, or Saint Patrick's Day, the Cuban capital witnessed a parade of children and adults wearing green costumes, one of the national symbols of the Emerald Isle.

Since 2017, the Center for the Interpretation of Cuba-Europe Cultural Relations has joined the celebrations of Saint Patrick's Day, the patron saint of Ireland, as is the case in a growing number of cities around the world.

Although the holiday takes on different nuances in each place, it has one common denominator: the color green, shamrocks, costumes, music, and dancing.
