Kingstown, April 22, 2025 - The Minister of Health, Environment and Welfare of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the Honourable St. Clair "Jimmy" Prince, travelled to Cuba to participate in the V International Convention Cuba Salud 2025, which is being held at the Palacio de Convenciones of Havana from 21 to 25 of this month.
This important event brings together more than 5,000 professionals, managers and experts from over 80 countries to exchange ideas on the main challenges of today’s global health, whose greatest objective is to ensure access to equity and quality in health care for all human beings.
The presence of Minister Prince at this event also demonstrates the great importance that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines attaches to the bilateral medical cooperation between the two countries, which was officially launched in 2001 and gradually expanded in the following years, which has made possible to provide sustainable health care to the Vincentian people, which has had a positive impact on the quality of life of this brother Caribbean country (Cuban Embassy in St. Vincent and the Grenadines/Cubaminrex).
