Cuban Chargé d'Affaires a.i. participates in ASEAN Anniversary reception

Canberra, 23 July 2025 - The Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, Ivianes González Llanes, participated in the reception commemorating the 58th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), organized by the embassies of member countries in Canberra.

The occasion was an opportunity to strengthen cooperation ties between Cuba and several ASEAN member countries, particularly in areas such as health, education and cultural exchange.

The event, which brought together Australian government representatives, diplomats and community leaders, included cultural presentations that reflected the rich diversity of the Asian region.
