Pretoria, October 4, 2025.- On such an important day in Venezuelan history, the name of the Commander of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chávez, was unveiled on the Wall of Names at the iconic Freedom Park, where the names of the heroes, both national and international, who contributed to the liberation of southern Africa are recorded.
The unveiling of Chávez's name on the Wall was presided over by Professor Rafael Camacho of the National Center for Historical Studies of Venezuela, who recalled how Chávez is also the father of all Venezuelans.
The Cuban Embassy in South Africa, together with members of the cooperation brigades in the capital, participated in this symbolic and historic event, accompanying the Venezuelan brothers and sisters in Pretoria, just days after signing the Cuban Revolutionary Government's statement of solidarity with the homeland of Bolívar.
