Cuban Ambassador Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre was recently received by Ntesany Molemele, Director of Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of International Relations.
During the cordial meeting, the two diplomats reviewed several topics of mutual interest and exchanged views on the current complex international context. In this regard, they expressed their commitment to continue working in defense of multilateralism and to strengthen ties between their countries in the multilateral arena, where they share common positions.
The Cuban diplomat thanked Director Molemele for her country's sustained support, both at the United Nations and the African Union, for resolutions against the illegal and ruthless U.S. blockade imposed on the Cuban people for more than six decades.
Molemele affirmed that Botswana will always stand with Cuba.
