Ulan Bator, Mongolia. January 28, 2019. In honor to the 166th Anniversary of the Birth of our Apostle José Martí, a lecture was given at the National University of Mongolia, by the Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción in coordination with the Chair of Diplomatic Studies of said center high studies. Professors and academics from that faculty participated and members of the Association of Mongolian Graduates in Cuba also were among the audience.
The conference of the Cuban Ambassador was about the life and work of José Martí, whose example was and continues to be the guide of all Cubans as reflected in the Preamble to the new Constitution:: " GUIDED by the most advanced revolutionary thought, anti-imperialist and Marxist Cuban, Latin American and universal, particularly by the ideas and example of Martí... "and in this sense delved into the main changes reflected in the new Cuban Constitution that will be submitted to a popular referendum on February 24, 2019.
As a special guest to this event and speaker for the Mongolian side was the professor and ex-diplomat who served as Ambassador of Mongolia in Cuba, Mr. G.Tumurchuluunel, who also gave a lecture about the new Cuban Magna Carta and its main differences with the Constitution of Mongolia.
The members of the Association of Graduates in Cuba participating in the event contributed with their knowledge and experiences during the comparative debate generated between both Constitutions and which of the elements proposed in the new Cuban Law of Laws could serve as examples for the national discussion that in these moments happen in this country about the Mongolian constitutional reform. In an atmosphere of friendship and understanding of the cultural and historical differences between the two countries, some principles embodied in the new Cuban Constitution emerged as they could be useful to study and adapt to enrich the Mongolian project of the new Constitution.
