Kingstown, 13 December. The Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Hon. Ralph Gonsalves left in the early hours of the night for Havana, leading the delegation from the Caribbean island that will participate in the XVII Summit of Heads of State and Government to be held in Havana, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the constitution of ALBA-TCP by Presidents Fidel Castro and Hugo Chávez.
The Summit will review the situation in Latin America and the Caribbean and will further strengthen the mechanisms of integration and cooperation among the countries that make up the Summit. Cuban Ambassador José M. Leyva Ventura and the Head of the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission, Francisco Pérez Santana, went to the airport to bid farewell to the Vincentian President.
