The celebration of the Cuban Culture Day in Belize

There was a warm and friendly night enjoyed by Cubans an Belizeans on the occasion of the Cuban Culture Day.

October the 20th, 1868, was the first time Cubans sang our National Anthem at the beginning of our battles for independence, 151 years ago.

With a mixture of compatriots and students in #Belize, the spirit of cooperation ruled the warm atmosphere.

Amazing night on the occasion of the 500 Anniversary of our capital, La Habana. We also paid tribute to the Prima Ballerina Assoluta Alicia Alonso and her fruitful life.

Thank you to all present especially to:
1. The "Miss and Ketch Steel Pan" and their beautifull "Guantanamera".
2. The Dance Group of "Our Lady of Guadalupe High School" and their amazing Cha Cha Cha ("El Bodeguero").
3. The "Allegro Music School" and the beautiful trío with "La Bayamesa".
Thank you again to Niurka Oviedo, Yoelvis Medero, Elizabeth Warner, and all students
who made possible this wonderful night.
