Pretoria, February 20, 2020.- Affiliates of South African political and trade union organizations, including, among others, the Health and Education Workers' Union, the South African Communist Party and the African National Congress, held a protest rally in front of the US Consulate in the town of Tokai, in the South African province of Western Cape.
In this colorful show of solidarity, more than a hundred protesters raised their voices to denounce the aggressive and intrusive policies of the United States government, the resurgence of the blockade against Cuba and the current US defamatory campaign against Cuban medical collaboration internationally, from which the South African people have benefited for more than twenty years, with excellent results.
In the protest there were also expressions of support for the people of the Saharawi Republic and in support of countries such as Venezuela and Nicaragua, equally victims of aggressive US policies.
