Cubans residing in Dominica speak out against the blockade

Cubans residing in Dominica spoke out today against the US government's blockade against Cuba and expressed their support for the caravans taking place for that purpose this weekend. Here is the full text of the Declaration:

We Cubans residing in Dominica are together with all our compatriots and friends of Cuba, who throughout the world demand the end of the inhuman, illegal and genocidal blockade of the US government against our country. Our families suffer the effect of this blockade every day, which affects all spaces of life.

The Cuban people have always provided love and help in any part of the world that has been needed. Now with the COVID 19 pandemic, our doctors heal and save lives, not only in Cuba but in many other countries. In these times in which solidarity is what should exist, the blockade is more cruel and anachronistic.

Cuban patriots are the same inside and outside of our country. We are the ones who defend the sovereignty and independence of Cuba and we want our homeland to build its own path without blockade. On March 27 and 28, 2021, we join all those who in various parts of the world express the desire to build bridges of love and friendship between Cuba and the United States and who demand that the blockade that affects all countries be eliminated. Cubans.
