Pretoria, April 26, 2021.- The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, held a fruitful exchange with the South African Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA), Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and other directors of that Ministry, in the interest of continuing to expand cooperation between COGTA and the Ministry of Construction of Cub.
The South African Minister congratulated the excellent work carried out in South Africa by numerous Cuban specialists in different spheres and emphasized COGTA's interest in establishing new cooperation projects with the Cuban Ministry of Construction.
The Cuban representative presented several concrete cooperation projects that would make it possible to expand assistance to the South African people in the construction of infrastructures and other works necessary for their well-being, especially in the country's most disadvantaged rural communities.
The Cuban delegation was also made up of the Minister Counselor Rebeca Hernández, the head of the UNECA brigade in South Africa, Pedro Pérez Leyva and the Commercial Counselor Aldo Javier Valdés.
