Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. August 3, 2021. - The Hon. Mr. Bat-Erdene Badmaanuambun, Member of the Great State Hural of Mongolia (Parliament) and president of the Mongolia-Cuba Parliamentary Friendship Group, held a meeting at the headquarters of the legislature with the Ambassador of Cuba, Raúl Delgado Concepción, who addressed issues of bilateral and international interest, as well as the current situation in Cuba with the attempts of internal destabilization based on the serious situation of the Covid-19 pandemic and the intensification of the criminal blockade of the States United.
During the meeting, Mr. Bat-Erdene highlighted the importance and role of the participation of the legislative bodies of both countries in expanding cooperation relations and expressed his support for the statements recently issued by the National Assembly of People's Power in Cuba in relation to the events that took place in Cuba on July 11, underlining that the Mongolian legislature and its parliamentary group of friendship with our country will continue to support the battle that our people are waging against the criminal North American blockade.
Bat-Erdene also expressed his gratitude and the importance of knowing about the current situation in Cuba, especially on the issue of the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and the development of parliaments. He pointed out that he trusts that this exchange of information and ideas will be of great help to maintain constant and trusting relations between two parliaments, as well as relations between the peoples of our countries.
The President of the Parliamentary Group of Friendship with Cuba expressed to the Cuban Ambassador his appreciation for his personal contribution to the strengthening of economic, political, cultural and interpersonal relations between our countries and I wish him success in his next mission.
