Dominica, Roseau, March 3, 2022. During a meeting held today by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Ulises Arranz Fernández, with Speaker of the House of the Assembly of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Honorable Joseph Isaac; the head of the legislative condemned the blockade of the US government against Cuba.
At the meeting, the Cuban Ambassador provided extensive updated information on the blockade and the effects it has on the Cuban people, who are affected in all spheres of life by the obstacles and limitations that this policy causes in finances, trade and economy of Cuba. Other topics of interest for relations between the legislative bodies of both countries were discussed during the meeting.
The meeting, held in an atmosphere of friendship and brotherhood, served to show the excellent level of relations between the Republic of Cuba and the Commonwealth of Dominica.
