Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia meets with directors of the Mongolian United Association of Private Sector Health Organizations

The Cuban ambassador to Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, met with the President of the Mongolian United Association of Private Sector Health Organizations, Dr. Zorigoo. Sh. The Executive Director, Dr. Dorjgunsmaa Chuluunbat, also participated.

Both parties exchanged information on the measures of their respective countries that allowed the control of Covid-19. They also discussed the use in Mongolia of the Cuban drug HeberProt P in the treatment of diabetic foot.

The Cuban diplomat shared with the Mongolian side the development and results of public health in Cuba. He also addressed the advances in Cuban medical biotechnology, including its most innovative biopharmaceuticals.

The Ambassador of Cuba conveyed the Cuban interest in knowing the medical experiences of Mongolia through his participation in the events held on the island.

In this sense, he referred to the celebration of BioHabana 2022 in April, as well as the IV International Convention Cuba-Health 2022, the XV International Health Fair for All and the I International Fair of Medical Tourism and Well-being that will be held in La Havana, from October 17 to 20.

The Mongolian doctors expressed their willingness to exchange experiences and cooperation between the health institutions of the two countries. They also expressed their willingness to disseminate information about the events in both countries and to promote participation in them. They also exchanged information on health tourism.

This organization, founded in 1993, 29 years ago, brings together some 300 hospitals and private clinics in the country that provide an important service to the population.
