Cuba welcomes the resumption of talks between the Government of Colombia and the ELN 

Havana, October 4. A Statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba informs that “…the ELN Peace Delegation who were staying in Cuba departed from the national territory by virtue of an agreement reached among the National Government of Colombia, the ELN and the Guarantors from Norway, Venezuela, and Cuba.

Vice President of "World Beyond War" visited the Embassy of Cuba.

Wellington, April 19. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés and First Secretary Dalila Vázquez met at the Embassy with Liz Remmerswaal, Vice President of "World Beyond War", who visited us with her husband.

We had an interesting exchange on the international situation and cooperation in defense of peace between Cuban and New Zealand organizations.

We established avenues for cooperation between ICAP and "World Beyond War", an organization dedicated to the search for peace.

 

Cuba ratifies support for peace and the Charter of the United Nations.

Havana. March 8. President Miguel Diaz-Canel affirmed that "Cuba firmly and consistently defends International Law, the Charter of the United Nations and the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, which was signed by the Heads of State and Government in Havana, in 2014. 

He added that "We will continue to advocate for a serious, constructive and realistic diplomatic solution to the current crisis in Europe, by peaceful means that guarantee the security and sovereignty of all."
