It is with deep sorrow that I come before you to inform our people, and friends of Our America and the world, that today, november 25, at 10:29 PM, Comandante en Jefe of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz passed away. In accordance with his express wishes Compañero Fidel's remains will be cremated. In the early hours of the morning of Satuday 26, the funeral organizing commission will provide our people with detailed information regarding the posthumous tributes which will be paid to the founder of the Cuban Revolution.

Director of the Americas Department of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) receives the Ambassador of Cuba
The Cuban ambassador to the State of Qatar, Alain Pérez Torres, was received by H.E. Mohammed Saif Al-Sowaidi, Director of the Americas Department of the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).
At the meeting, both parties highlighted the good state of relations between both countries and the excellent results in cooperation in the health sector. Likewise, business and investment opportunities in Cuba in prioritized sectors of interest to the country were evaluated.
