Somerville City Council Passes Resolution Against the Blockade
On September 22, the Somerville City Council, in the state of Massachusetts, approved a resolution in which they urge the US government to remove Cuba from the List of State Sponsors of Terrorism and to put an end to the current sanctions including travel restrictions.
The text also advocates developing collaborative actions between the two countries in the biotechnological field.
This is the thirty-eighth time that a resolution has been adopted in the US calling for the end of the blockade and the improvement of relations with Cuba.
