The Cuban soccer team arrived in Basseterre this morning, to face Antigua and Barbuda on Thursday the 9th, in a match corresponding to the group stage of the League of Nations of the North American, Central American and Caribbean Soccer Confederation (Concacaf).

The Minister of Sports and Youth of Turkmenistan, Dayanch Gulgeldiyev Yaganovich, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, with the aim of promoting collaboration in sports.

The Turkmen official considered that the sports exchange between the two countries is one of the areas that have the best conditions to develop bilateral relations between Havana and Ashgabad.

For his part, the diplomat stressed that sport can become a bridge between nations.
