Cuba and Saint Kitts and Nevis update cooperation agreement on health

On behalf of the Ministries of Health of Cuba and Saint Kitts and Nevis, Ambassador David Rivero Pérez and the local Permanent Secretary, Dr. Delores Stapleton-Harris, respectively, today signed a new health cooperation agreement, which will continue the Cuban medical collaboration in the Federation.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez, was received on a courtesy visit by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Honorable Shawn K. Richards, who also serves as Minister of Public Infrastructure and Urban Development as well as political leader of the People’s Action Movement, which is part of the coalition that forms the current government, "Team Unity".

Health authorities in Nevis receive Cuban Ambassador.

Yesterday, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez, made a working visit to the island of Nevis where he was received by the Minister of Health from this island, the Honorable Hazel Brandy-Williams, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of this Ministry, Shelisa Martin-Clarke.
