NGO "Familia" begins approach with Cuba in Finland

About the support of the "Familia" organization, the Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, met during her meeting this Tuesday with the Secretary of Communication of this NGO, Martha Cecilia Largaespada. She explained to the Ambassador the results in these 30 years of the NGO that supports intercultural families settled in Finland, in increasing numbers for years. Cuba thanked the approach to the organization, a space that without a doubt can represent a lot of support and attention to the families of Cuban residents who live in this Nordic nation, and in particular to their descendants.

Young Cubans praise circus art at the end of the "Got Talent"

Helsinki, May 20, 2022.- Yordanis and Sirenia, two young Cuban graduates of the National Circus School, who share their talent in Finland, arrived at our Embassy. A few hours ago they had played the final of the "Got Talent" in Bulgaria, where they demonstrated their quality and rigor. The talent and excellence in artistic training in Cuba is shown in the exquisite performance of these young people, who proudly display their Cuban nationality.

Consulate of Cuba offers services and information to Cubans residing in Finland and the Baltics

In the week that has passed, numerous Cubans residing in Finland and the Baltic countries have approached the Cuban Mission in this capital, requesting some consular service or interested in issues of national information. Among them are Silvia Moreno and María La O, interested in carrying out a special power of attorney, a service that since last March our Consulate has made available to our nationals residing in this area, as explained by Consul Adalberto Ávila Parra. A similar request was received from Luis Anaya, a compatriot who currently resides in Filandia, who was pleased to also learn about the current possibilities that allow nationals abroad to invest in the Cuban economy.
