Parties from around the world support Cuba with an international declaration.
Havana, February 12, 2026. More than 90 political organizations from various continents signed a joint declaration in support of Cuba, reaffirming their solidarity and rejecting the escalation of measures adopted by the United States government. The statement, “End the Escalation of U.S. Aggression Against Cuba!” promoted by the Portuguese Communist Party, calls for the immediate end of “all aggressive measures” taken against the island, including the economic, commercial, and financial blockade that has been maintained for decades despite repeated United Nations resolutions against this policy.
In the text, political parties and movements condemn the U.S. executive order that designates Cuba as an 'unusual and extraordinary threat' to the security of the United States, a characterization they consider based on falsehoods and used as a pretext to increase pressure on the Caribbean nation.
