Cuban authorities recognize the work of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Türkiye.
The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, sent a greeting to the Cuban medical brigade that is providing services to the victims of the earthquakes that hit southern Turkey on February 6. From his Twitter account, Díaz-Canel wrote: "A big hug for our dear doctors. We are very proud of you, and from here we remain aware of everything you are doing in sister Türkiye. Cuba admires and loves you". Similarly, on the same social network.
Cuban doctors provide assistance to those affected by the earthquake.
Since their arrival in Türkiye, members of the Cuban Medical Brigade have been assisting the Turkish people in the early hours of the morning and left for two camps with survivors of the earthquake, located in towns in the province of Kahramanmarash (epicenter of the first earthquake): Afşin and Elbistan.
