Minister of Education of Liberia receives the Cuban Ambassador in Monrovia.

At the headquarters of the Ministry of Education in Monrovia, Dr. Jarso M. Jallah, the Minister, received the Cuban ambassador, Dr. Indira López Arguelles.

The minister thanked the scholarships that Havana offers for Liberian students and evaluated other opportunities to strengthen ties in this sphere.

The Ambassador updated the Island's progress recognized by UNESCO such as the Yes I Can method, among other multiple work potentials

Cuba's work in UNESCO is valued in Azerbaijan

The executive secretary of the National Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United Nations Organization for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO), Elnur Sultanov, said today in a meeting with the Cuban ambassador in Baku, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo , the role of Cuba in that international organization.

During the working meeting held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this Caucasian nation, Sultanov highlighted the existing relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba and the common points on international issues.

EmbaCuba Austria´s Visit to the Austrian Commission for UNESCO

 Ambassador Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios was received by Ms. Gabriele Eschig Secretary-General of the Austrian Commission for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).

The courtesy call took place in the premises of that institution in a friendly atmosphere in which Ambassador Fernández Palacios referred to the seven decades of relations between Cuba and the UNESCO and to the historical bonds expressed in the celebration of the 70 anniversary in 2017.
