NA Vice Chairman: Vietnam always gives special sentiment to Cuba

The Vietnamese Party, State and people always give special sentiment to Cuba, National Assembly Vice Chairman Nguyen Khac Dinh told Cuban Minister of Justice Oscar Manuel Slivera Martinez during a reception in Hanoi on June 15. Dinh said Vietnam forever remembers and deeply appreciates the strong support and wholehearted assistance that the Communist Party and fraternal people of Cuba have offered to the Vietnamese people in the past struggle for national liberation and the current national development.

Díaz-Canel convenes a Summit in Havana of the G-77 + China

The President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, in his capacity as President Pro Tempore of the Group of the G-77 + China, convened a Summit of Heads of State and Government under the theme "Current development challenges: Role of Science, Technology and Innovation", on September 15 and 16, 2023, in Havana.

Cuban party delegation travels to Ho Chi Minh City

Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in Havana, and his accompanying delegation traveled to Ho Chi Minh City, in the follow-up of their visit to Vietnam.

The program in Ho Chi Minh City, more than 1,600 kilometers from Hanoi, began with a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels, which were dug with rudimentary tools by the militia of that district of the former Saigon between 1946 and 1968.

Ho Chi Minh City, Havana seek stronger cooperation

Politburo member and Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen on June 12 received member of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Central Committee and First Secretary of the Havana Party Committee Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, who is on a Vietnam visit. Nen stressed that the visit by the Havana delegation will contribute to boosting the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Vietnam and Cuba in general, and the two cities in particular.

Hanoi donates 2,000 tons of rice to Havana

Hanoi donated Friday 2,000 tons of rice to Havana in the presence of top party leaders Dinh Tien Dung and Luis Antonio Torres Iribar, respectively. The ceremony to deliver the donation, signed by Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam, Orlando Hernandez Guillen, took place after Tien Dung and Torres Iribar signed a cooperation agreement between the Provincial Committees of the Communist Parties of Vietnam (CPV) and Cuba (PCC).
