Bruselas, 26 de febrero de 2025.- El embajador de Cuba, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios fue recibido esta mañana por el Alcalde de la Comuna de Forest, Charles Spapens. El encuentro tuvo lugar en el Hôtel Communal de Forest, sede del Gobierno municipal.
Durante el intercambio, el diplomático cubano y el Burgomaestre abordaron temas de interés común. Ambos concordaron en que existen potencialidades para dinamizar los vínculos entre la Embajada y la Comuna de Forest.
Como parte de la visita, Fernández Palacios intercambió brevemente con otras autoridades del municipio y recorrió los espacios del Hôtel Communal de Forest, edificio emblemático de la localidad y uno de los exponentes del Art Deco en Bélgica.
Forest es un municipio de la Región Bruselas-Capital. En esa comuna se encuentra ubicada la sede de la representación diplomática de Cuba.

Brussels, February 26, 2025. - The Ambassador of Cuba, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios was received this morning by the Mayor of the Commune of Forest, Charles Spapens. The meeting took place at the Hôtel Communal de Forest, seat of the municipal government.
During the exchange, the Cuban diplomat and the Mayor discussed topics of common interest. Both agreed that there is a potential to dynamize the links between the Embassy and the Commune of Forest.
As part of the visit, Fernandez Palacios exchanged briefly with other authorities of the municipality and toured the spaces of the Hôtel Communal de Forest, emblematic building of the locality and one of the exponents of Art Deco in Belgium.
Forest is a municipality in the Brussels-Capital Region. The headquarters of the diplomatic representation of Cuba is located in this commune.
