Bruselas, 19 de febrero.- Bruselas acogió la primera reunión de altos funcionarios de América Latina y la Unión Europea en materia de Justicia, en la que tomaron parte representantes de alrededor de 40 países. El nuevo foro se inscribe como parte de la implementación de los acuerdos derivados de la IV Cumbre CELAC-UE de Santa Marta y persigue establecer una cooperación estructurada birregional en materia lucha contra el crimen organizado y el lavado de activos.
La delegación cubana estuvo integrada por Gladys Padrón, del Ministerio de Justicia de Cuba y Bryan Gual, primer secretario de la Embajada de Cuba en Bélgica.

First meeting of senior officials from Latin America and the European Union on justice issues held
Brussels, February 19.- Brussels hosted the first meeting of senior officials from Latin America and the European Union on justice, attended by representatives from around 40 countries. The new forum is part of the implementation of the agreements derived from the IV CELAC-EU Summit in Santa Marta and seeks to establish structured bi-regional cooperation in the fight against organized crime and money laundering.
The Cuban delegation was composed of Gladys Padrón, from the Cuban Ministry of Justice, and Bryan Gual, first secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Belgium.
