La era digital plantea un escenario en el que la hegemonía tecnológica de las derechas y ultraderechas engendra guerras genocidas y pone en riesgo a nivel planetario la vida de los pueblos.
La cuarta edición del Coloquio Internacional “Patria”, en el contexto del 133° aniversario del periódico fundado por José Martí al que debe su nombre y en celebración de los 20 años de teleSUR, busca explorar cómo se están transformando las dinámicas de poder en un mundo interconectado, en el que junto con las posibilidades sin precedente de interacción e intercambio social proliferan la desinformación, el discurso de odio y diversas formas de manipulación.
Se celebrará en La Habana, del 17 al 19 de marzo de 2024.

“We are peoples weaving networks”.
The digital era poses a scenario in which the technological hegemony of the right and ultra-right engenders genocidal wars and puts the lives of peoples at risk on a planetary level.
The fourth edition of the International Colloquium “Patria”, in the context of the 133rd anniversary of the newspaper founded by José Martí to which it owes its name and in celebration of 20 years of teleSUR, seeks to explore how the dynamics of power are being transformed in an interconnected world, in which along with the unprecedented possibilities of interaction and social exchange proliferate disinformation, hate speech and various forms of manipulation.
It will be held in Havana from March 17-19, 2024.
