Cuba Ambassador offers conference on tourism in Cuba

SRI LANKA, March 8, 2019. - Invited by the Rotary Club of Colombo, The Ambassador of Cuba, Juana Elena Ramos Rodríguez, offered a conference on the tourism sector in Cuba.

The Ambassador provided to the members of the Club abundant information about the tourist attractions of Cuba, among them its beautiful beaches, culture, history and the prestige reached by the quality of its tourist services. She also referred to the various investment opportunities for foreign capital in the tourism sector in Cuba. The portfolio of opportunities in this sector has about 140 projects.

The Ambassador pointed out that Cuba has achieved constant growth in the number of visitors for 11 consecutive years, despite the inclement weather and the blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba, which now extends for almost six decades.
