The Cuban Ambassador to Botswana Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre paid a courtesy call on the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic Ambassador Sidihiba Abdala recently.
During the fraternal meeting, both diplomats exchanged views on the political and socio-economic situation in their respective countries and other current international issues. Ambassador Pubillones and Ambassador Abdala congratulated each other for having presented their Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Duma Gideon Boko, Presidente of the República of Botswana on the same day and expressed best wishes for success in their tour of duties. Ambassador Abdala thanked the Cuban government and people for their permanent support to the sttrugle of the Sahrawi people for their sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Ambassador Pubillones reciprocated with his appreciation for the Sahrawi people support to the Cuban people in their longlasting struggle against the US blockade and stressed that Cuba will always be by the side of the Sahrawi brothers and sisters.
