Cuban ambassador holds meeting with officials from Botswana's Ministry of International Relations

Gaborone, February 11 2026 - The Cuban Ambassador to Botswana Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre had a friendly and fruitful meeting this afternoon with Daphne Mlotshwa, Acting Director of the Europe and Américas Department of the Ministry of International Relations, and Morati Kelly, Desk Officer in charge of Cuba. The diplomats examined the present status and prospects of the bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to continue to work together for their further enhancement. The Ambassador thanked the Acting Director again for her permanent support in the discharge of his duties.
