La Habana, 6 de abril.- El próximo 9 de abril tendrá lugar la IX Cumbre de Jefes de Estado y Gobierno de la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (CELAC) en Tegucigalpa, Honduras, que estará precedida por una Reunión de Coordinadores Nacionales, los días 6 y 7 y una Reunión de Cancilleres de la CELAC el día 8 de abril.
La IX Cumbre será un espacio para acordar acciones que permitan dar solución a los problemas comunes que enfrenta la región en un contexto de arremetida imperialista y de intento de revitalizar la Doctrina Monroe; así como para promover la cooperación y la integración en América Latina y el Caribe.
La delegación cubana estará encabezada por el presidente de la República y primer secretario del Comité Central del Partido Comunista de Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. Integran la delegación el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, la viceministra de Relaciones Exteriores, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, el embajador de la República de Cuba en Honduras, Juan Roberto Loforte Osorio y otros funcionarios de la Cancillería.
El cónclave constituirá un espacio muy relevante para la concertación política, la cooperación e integración regional.

Cuban delegation to participate in the IX Summit of CELAC
Havana, April 6.- The IX Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) will take place on April 9 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, which will be preceded by a Meeting of National Coordinators on April 6 and 7 and a Meeting of CELAC Foreign Ministers on April 8.
The IX Summit will be a space to agree on actions to solve the common problems faced by the region in a context of imperialist onslaught and an attempt to revitalize the Monroe Doctrine; as well as to promote cooperation and integration in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The Cuban delegation will be headed by the President of the Republic and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez. The delegation includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Honduras, Juan Roberto Loforte Osorio and other officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The conclave will constitute a very relevant space for political coordination, cooperation and regional integration.
