Bruselas 3 de diciembre.- Los diputados cubanos Rolando González Patricio, Luis Morlote Rivas y Dr. Enrique Alemán fueron recibidos en la sede del Senado belga por miembros del Grupo Interparlamentario Bélgica–Cuba, en un encuentro destinado a fortalecer los lazos de cooperación y diálogo entre ambas naciones.
Durante la reunión, los parlamentarios intercambiaron sobre temas de interés común y reafirmaron la voluntad de continuar profundizando las relaciones interparlamentarias. El Embajador de Cuba en Bélgica, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios, destacó las numerosas muestras de solidaridad expresadas hacia la Isla por parte de legisladores belgas.
Asimismo, el Embajador subrayó la importancia de promover mecanismos de intercambio que permitan ampliar la cooperación bilateral en esferas de beneficio mutuo, al tiempo que agradeció el constante apoyo recibido frente a los desafíos que enfrenta el país.
El encuentro reafirmó el compromiso de ambas partes de seguir fortaleciendo los vínculos entre los parlamentos de Cuba y Bélgica, sobre la base del respeto, la colaboración y el entendimiento mutuo.

Cuban deputies hold meeting with the Belgium-Cuba Interparliamentary Group in the Belgian Senate
Brussels, December 3.- Cuban deputies Rolando González Patricio, Luis Morlote Rivas, and Dr. Enrique Alemán were received at the Belgian Senate by members of the Belgium-Cuba Interparliamentary Group in a meeting aimed at strengthening ties of cooperation and dialogue between the two nations.
During the meeting, the parliamentarians discussed issues of common interest and reaffirmed their willingness to continue deepening interparliamentary relations. The Cuban Ambassador to Belgium, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios, highlighted the numerous expressions of solidarity toward the island by Belgian legislators.
The Ambassador also stressed the importance of promoting exchange mechanisms that allow for the expansion of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual benefit, while thanking them for their constant support in the face of the challenges facing the country.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both parties to continue strengthening ties between the parliaments of Cuba and Belgium, based on respect, collaboration, and mutual understanding.
