Santa Marta, 4 de noviembre.- La viceministra de Relaciones Exteriores de Cuba, y coordinadora nacional ante la Comunidad de Estados Latinoamericanos y Caribeños (CELAC), Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, encabeza la delegación cubana en la XIX Reunión de Coordinadores Nacionales, previo a la IV Cumbre CELAC – UE.
Rodríguez Camejo ratificó el compromiso de Cuba con una Cumbre que refleje las visiones compartidas de ambas regiones sobre temas de interés de la agenda internacional actual y sobre el futuro de las relaciones birregionales.
Enfatizó en que se debe prestar atención a temas de vital importancia para la región, como el compromiso con la Proclama de América Latina y el Caribe como Zona de Paz; el rechazo a las medidas coercitivas unilaterales y la cooperación Sur-Sur.
La XIX Reunión de Coordinadores Nacionales resulta un espacio clave para avanzar en la negociación de los documentos que serán presentados durante la IV Cumbre CELAC–Unión Europea, prevista los días 9 y 10 de noviembre, en Santa Marta, Colombia.
Integran también la delegación cubana, Juan Antonio Quintanilla Román, director general de Asuntos Multilaterales y Derecho Internacional, Ileana Núñez Mordoche , directora de Europa y Canadá y otros directivos y funcionarios de la cancillería cubana.

Cuba participates in the 19th Meeting of National Coordinators of CELAC
Santa Marta, November 4.- Cuba's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Coordinator for the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, is leading the Cuban delegation at the 19th Meeting of National Coordinators, prior to the 4th CELAC-EU Summit.
Rodríguez Camejo reaffirmed Cuba's commitment to a summit that reflects the shared visions of both regions on issues of interest on the current international agenda and on the future of bi-regional relations.
She emphasized that attention must be paid to issues of vital importance to the region, such as the commitment to the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, the rejection of unilateral coercive measures, and South-South cooperation.
The 19th Meeting of National Coordinators is a key opportunity to advance negotiations on the documents that will be presented during the 4th CELAC-European Union Summit, scheduled for November 9 and 10 in Santa Marta, Colombia.
The Cuban delegation also includes Juan Antonio Quintanilla Román, Director General of Multilateral Affairs and International Law, Ileana Núñez Mordoche, Director for Europe and Canada, and other executives and officials from the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
