Seguimos construyendo juntos una Cuba más unida y solidaria, reafirmaron hoy los invitados al XV Encuentro de Cubanos Residentes en Bélgica.
En el encuentro, el diputado cubano a la Asamblea Nacional del Poder Popular, Enrique Alemán Gutiérrez, agradeció a los compatriotas por cada gesto de solidaridad hacia los cubanos, afectados tras el paso del huracán Melissa en la región oriental del país.
Reafirmó la importancia y el impacto de cada contribución que realizan los amigos de la solidaridad a las familias cubanas a pasar del bloqueo genocida de EEUU, que limita la concreción de sus derechos humanos.
Alemán Gutiérrez conversó sobre el impacto social de los 34 Programas Sociales que desarrolla Quisicuaba en las comunidades del país.
Destacó que la atención y acompañamiento a mujeres y hombres distinguen el trabajo de reinserción social que realizan en la nación.
El Embajador de Cuba en Bélgica y ante la Unión Europea, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios, agradeció los gestos de apoyo y solidaridad hacia los cubanos y ratificó que el bloqueo económico, comercial y financiero de Estados «nos niega el derecho a la vida».
Los cubanos residentes en esa nación europea ratificaron su compromiso con la Patria de Martí y Fidel, su cultura, valores y tradiciones.
Condenaron también el recrudecimiento del bloqueo estadounidense y exigieron la exclusión inmediata de Cuba de la lista de Estados que supuestamente patrocinan el terrorismo.

Cubans living in Belgium reaffirm solidarity and unity for Cuba
We continue to build together a more united and supportive Cuba, reaffirmed today the guests at the 15th Meeting of Cubans Living in Belgium.
At the meeting, Cuban deputy to the National Assembly of People's Power Enrique Alemán Gutiérrez thanked his compatriots for every gesture of solidarity toward Cubans affected by Hurricane Melissa in the eastern part of the country.
He reaffirmed the importance and impact of every contribution made by friends of solidarity to Cuban families to overcome the genocidal blockade imposed by the United States, which limits the realization of their human rights.
Alemán Gutiérrez spoke about the social impact of the 34 social programs developed by Quisicuaba in communities across the country.
He emphasized that the care and support provided to women and men distinguish the social reintegration work they carry out in the nation.
The Cuban Ambassador to Belgium and to the European Union, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios, thanked the gestures of support and solidarity towards Cubans and reaffirmed that the economic, commercial, and financial blockade of the United States “denies us the right to life.”
Cubans living in that European nation reaffirmed their commitment to the homeland of Martí and Fidel, its culture, values, and traditions.
They also condemned the intensification of the U.S. blockade and demanded the immediate exclusion of Cuba from the list of states that allegedly support terrorism.
