Caracas, 29 de marzo de 2025.- Este sábado, en la capital de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, sesionó el XXV Consejo Político de la Alianza Bolivariana para los Pueblos de Nuestra América – Tratado de Comercio de los Pueblos (ALBA-TCP).
Presidida por el canciller venezolano Yván Gil, la reunión abordó asuntos de interés estratégico para la Alianza, como la defensa de la soberanía, la integración regional y la necesaria concertación política con vistas a los próximos eventos internacionales y en el contexto de la renovada arremetida del imperialismo contra los pueblos de Nuestra América.
En su intervención, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, destacó que esta reunión tiene lugar en una coyuntura crucial, en que Estados Unidos intenta forzar el diseño de un sistema internacional que amenaza la estabilidad, la seguridad y la paz.
Apuntó que "mediante la supuesta defensa de un nacionalismo extremo, un excepcionalismo imperialista y racista, el gobierno estadounidense recurre al uso de herramientas económico-comerciales brutalmente punitivas, cuyo efecto pernicioso repercutirá negativamente en nuestros pueblos".
Y agregó: "Aplica políticas discriminatorias, represivas e ilegales, que agreden la dignidad y los derechos humanos de nuestros nacionales residentes en ese país, mientras acude al chantaje, la intimidación y la implementación de un número creciente de medidas coercitivas unilaterales contra nuestras naciones, que violan el Derecho Internacional."
El Ministro resaltó que este diseño ocasiona un perjuicio directo, intencional y políticamente motivado a la soberanía e independencia de los Estados, viola el principio de no injerencia en los asuntos internos y entorpece los esfuerzos de las naciones en la promoción del pleno disfrute de los derechos humanos.
Frente a la embestida imperialista, el Canciller cubano reafirmó que tenemos el compromiso y el deber de mantener un sistema basado en relaciones respetuosas de amistad y cooperación, libre de amenazas y agresiones; así como un clima de paz, estabilidad y justicia, con el fin de desterrar para siempre el uso y la amenaza del uso de la fuerza.
Hizo un llamado a continuar fortaleciendo el ALBA y a cerrar filas frente a quienes pretenden imponernos sus agendas. "A la contraofensiva imperialista respondamos con nuestro plan, fortaleciendo la unidad, globalizando la solidaridad, y fomentando la integración, la cooperación y el diálogo, concluyó.

ALBA-TCP Political Council Meeting Held in Caracas
Caracas, March 29, 2025.- The XXV Political Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America - Peoples' Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP) met this Saturday in the capital of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
Chaired by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil, the meeting dealt with matters of strategic interest for the Alliance, such as the defense of sovereignty, regional integration and the necessary political coordination in view of the upcoming international events and in the context of the renewed imperialist onslaught against the peoples of Our America.
In his speech, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, stressed that this meeting is taking place at a crucial juncture, in which the United States is trying to force the design of an international system that threatens stability, security and peace.
He pointed out that “through the supposed defense of an extreme nationalism, an imperialist and racist exceptionalism, the U.S. government resorts to the use of brutally punitive economic and commercial tools, whose pernicious effect will have negative repercussions on our peoples”.
And he added: “It applies discriminatory, repressive and illegal policies, which attack the dignity and human rights of our nationals residing in that country, while resorting to blackmail, intimidation and the implementation of an increasing number of coercive measures”.

The Minister stressed that this design causes direct, intentional and politically motivated damage to the sovereignty and independence of States, violates the principle of non-interference in internal affairs and hinders the efforts of nations in promoting the full enjoyment of human rights.
In the face of the imperialist onslaught, the Cuban Foreign Minister reaffirmed that we have the commitment and duty to maintain a system based on respectful relations of friendship and cooperation, free of threats and aggressions; as well as a climate of peace, stability and justice, in order to banish forever the use and threat of the use of force.
He called for the continued strengthening of ALBA and to close ranks against those who seek to impose their agendas on us. “Let us respond to the imperialist counter-offensive with our plan, strengthening unity, globalizing solidarity, and promoting integration, cooperation and dialogue, he concluded.
