Freetown, August 28, 2025 – Cuban Ambassador Norma Sánchez Aguila and His Excellency Mr. Alan Charles Logan, Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone, held a working meeting at the Sierra Leonean Foreign Ministry.
Freetown, April 8, 2025.- Cuban Ambassador Norma Sánchez Águila was received this morning by the Minister of Information and Civic Education of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Honorable Chernor Bah.
During the meeting, which took place at the Ministry of Information and Civic Education Headquarters, the Cuban diplomat and Minister Bah discussed topics of mutual interest. Both agreed that there is potential to dynamize the links between the Embassy and the Ministry of Information and Civic Education.

Freetown, February 11, 2025. Norma Sánchez Águila, Chargé d'Affaires, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Sierra Leone, was received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation by the Director of the Multilateral Division, Ambassador Zainu Deen Sanusi.
Both officials reviewed the state of bilateral relations, the possibilities of cooperation and the coincidence of positions in the international multilateral arena.

Norma Sánchez Águila, Chargé d'Affaires, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Sierra Leone, was received at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation by Alhaji Timothy Musa Kabba, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Embassy of Cuba in Sierra Leone
The President of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation of Cuba, Osvaldo Caridad Vento Montiller and the Minister of Sports of Sierra Leone, Mrs. Augusta James-Teima, signed an agreement aimed at strengthening ties in that sector.
Minister James-Teima also attends the Second International Sports Fair of Cuba.
