Cuban medical brigade returns from Italy
Rome, June 8.- The members of the first of two medical brigades sent by Cuba to help combat the Covid-19 pandemic in Italy returned to their country this Monday after successfully accomplishing the noble mission of saving lives.
The 36 doctors, 15 nurses and a logistics specialist have contributed to the fight against the epidemic in the city of Crema for two months, and they departed today on a Blue Panorama airline flight from Malpensa airport, the main airport in Milan, capital of the Lombardy region.
