Festival Latinoamericano Rotterdam dedicates second edition to Cuba

The Hague, August 24, 2017. The second edition Festival Latinoamericano of Rotterdam is currently underway in this city. The festival, which started on August 23r, will run until the 27th, and it is dedicated to Cuba.

The intense program of the festival, which mixes music and films, includes the screening of classic films of the Cuban cinema such as "Strawberry and Chocolate" and "Memories of Underdevelopment."

Members of the diplomatic mission of the Embassy of Cuba in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, headed by the Cuban Ambassador H.E. Mrs. Soraya Alvarez Núñez, took part in the opening ceremony, in which renowned Cuban musician Ramón Valle performed and the documentary "Cubajazz" was shown.
