Ambassador of Cuba holds a meeting with the Acting Director of the Agricultural Research Institute

The Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, held a meeting with the Acting Director of the Agricultural Research Institute, Mrs. Theodora Kapari at the premises of the Institute.

In the meeting, they talked about the common challenges the two islands are facing in the agriculture sector and possibilities of future collaborations between various Institutes of the two countries, a possible signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to exchange knowledge and expertise while the Ambassador also informed Mrs. Kapari about the programs running in Cuba currently.

In the meeting present was also Dr. Christina Pitta, Senior Agricultural Research Officer (EmbaCuba Chipre).
