The Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, held on 20 February a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Culture, Mrs. Vasiliki Kassianidou at the offices of the Deputy Ministry.
The Ambassador personally congratulated Ms. Kassianidou on her appointment as Deputy Minister of Culture and informed her about the collaborations planned in the immediate future and suggested some other projects in order to improve the existing cultural relations between the two countries.
For her part, Ms. Kassianidou expressed that, beyond the challenges she faces, she is convinced that the Ministry can achieve a lot, as culture is a means through which relationships can be built. The Ministry wishes to further develop cultural diplomacy and support the island's talent and is willing to showcase Cypriot culture outside the island's borders (EmbaCuba Cyprus).
