Ambassador of Cuba holds a meeting with the new President of the Cyprus Sport Organization of Cyprus

 The Ambassador of Cuba in the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, held a meeting with the new President of the Cyprus Sport Organization (KOA), Mr. Yiannis Ioannou and Mrs. Mary Papacharalambous, Director General of the Organization.
The Ambassador congratulated Mr. Ioannou on his appointment as the new President of the Cyprus Sport Organization. Furthermore, they discussed and exchanged on ways on activating the Memorandum of Understanding, signed in January 2023 between the two countries, such as exchange visits of athletes and exchange in knowledge on governance variables.
The meeting concluded in agreement of the enthusiasm on both parts to begin a cooperation in practice (EmbaCuba Chipre).
