Kuwait, September 19, 2016. Andres Gonzalez Garrido, ambassador of Cuba in Kuwait signed the book of condolences on the death of comrade Rene Nunez Tellez, president of the National Assembly of Nicaragua at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission of the country in Kuwait. In the Nicaraguan embassy he was received by the ambassador of Nicaragua in Kuwait, Mazier Oscar Aranda.
Rene Nunez Tellez, was a historic leader and member of the Sandinista National Liberation Front (FSLN).
On the occasion of the death of Rene Nunez Tellez, Esteban Lazo Hernandez, President of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, sent a message of condolence to the National Assembly of Nicaragua, addressed to the Deputy Iris Montenegro Blandon, Acting President of the National Assembly of Nicaragua, in which expresses his deepest condolences to his family, to the national Assembly, and the Nicaraguan people for the loss of this tireless Latin American brother, whose memory and life will always be honored.
