Roseau, October 3, 2019. The Cuban Ambassador to Dominica, Ulises Arranz Fernández, received Davis Laville, one of the historical leaders of the solidarity of the people of Dominica with Cuba, at the Embassy headquarters. During the meeting, a recount was made of the solidarity activity carried out during the last 25 years and the participation of the dominicans and the Dominican Friendship Association - Cuba, which Davis presides over.
The Ambassador referred to the next celebration of the “Anti-Imperialist Solidarity Meeting, for Democracy and Against Neoliberalism”, which will take place between November 1 and 3, 2019, in Cuba. He provides a broad explanation of its objectives and the importance of being able to count on a representation of the Dominican-Cuba friendship association, for its history as part of the global solidarity movement with Cuba. The president of the association expressed his intention to attend in the event.
